This competency unit encompasses the principles and practical application of creating a comprehensive project budget. This includes the ability to establish a budget aligned with project requirements, identify the resources necessary for each task, and accurately determine the costs associated with these tasks. Mastery of this competency enables a project manager to develop a detailed cash flow projection and budget plan as well as contingency fund plan, ensuring financial resources are effectively allocated throughout the project's lifecycle.
