Catalog description

This course is an introduction to modern physics. The topics covered in this course include special relativity, optics, and introductions to quantum mechanics and its applications. Prerequisite: PHSX 212 and PHSX 236, or PHSX 214, or EECS 220, or EECS 221. Corequisite: MATH 320 or MATH 220 or MATH 221. Satisfies: Goal 3 Natural Sciences (GE3N) , Lab and Field Experiences (LFE)
