Catalog description

This course explores legislation associated with community pharmacy practice and pharmacy reimbursement. Topics include how pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) operate and other legislative changes which impact how pharmacists and pharmacies get reimbursed for services. This course will also explore opportunities for pharmacists to advocate for legislative changes. Prerequisite: Students must have at least second year professional standing in the School of Pharmacy and have successfully completed PHPR 619.
