Catalog description
Limits, continuity and derivatives of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions. Curve sketching, optimization and other applications of the derivative. Antiderivatives, Riemann sums, the definite integral, and the fundamental theorem of calculus. Open for only 1 hour credit to students with credit in MATH 115. Not open for credit to students with credit in MATH 116 or MATH 125. Prerequisite: An ACT Math score of 34 or higher, or membership in the University Honors Program and an ACT Math score of 32 or higher. Satisfies: Goal 1 Outcome 2 (GE12) , Math and Statistics Pathways (MPW) , Math and Statistics (MTS) , BA Quantitative Reasoning (QR) , Honors
