Students explore methods for gathering and interpreting information about learner characteristics, needs, motivations, and contextual factors that influence performance. This competency emphasizes identifying relevant stakeholders, analyzing environmental constraints and opportunities, and developing informed insights that guide design decisions across diverse contexts.
