Catalog description

This course provides a foundation for developing a professional identity in the legal field. Through guided self-reflection, discussions, and interactive exercises, students will explore what it means to be a lawyer and how to align personal values with professional responsibilities. Sessions will include understanding the role of lawyers, building resilience, developing cultural intelligence, and cultivating a growth mindset to navigate law school and future legal careers successfully. At the end of the course, students will have created a professional development plan, gained practical skills for networking and career planning, and established a strong foundation for success in law school and beyond. Graded on a credit/no credit basis.
