Catalog description

Web design and user interaction continues to advance and evolve. This course will describe how an organization’s web presence must be designed with the user experience as the focus. Students will gain an understanding of effective site design, how to measure and evaluate users’ experience while interacting with the site, how to optimize the site for e-commerce as well as other web marketing goals. Principles and processes of User Experience Design (UXD) will be emphasized. Prerequisite: JMC 820 (or concurrent enrollment).
