Catalog description

This course focuses on the development and application of advanced skills of audio storytelling and production, including identifying a content topic, creating a story, identifying target audiences, scripting, recording, and editing audio for media programming and strategic messaging. Students will plan and produce a podcast series. Need access to and proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition. Must obtain a grade of C (2.0) or higher to advance in the curriculum. Prerequisite: JMC 340 and JMC 345. Recommended: JMC 210, 211.
