Catalog description
Students will work towards obtaining their drone license and operating drones for a multimedia project. They will also learn the ethics of drone piloting and surveillance. The students are given resources and materials to study for the FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107) Unmanned Aircraft General–Small test that leads to Remote Pilot Certification. In addition, students learn how to fly and practicing flying the drone within FAA compliance during this course.
