Catalog description

The course will prepare students to become strong leaders and administrators for tribal governments. Students will learn the basics of sovereignty principles, strategies used by tribal nations in the past, and current developments and controversies. Some major areas of what will be studied include day-to-day operations, financial administration, tribal historical and cultural preservation, taxation, environmental protection, and the development of inter-governmental agreements.
