Catalog description

This studio course provides an introductory exploration of theory and methods aimed at developing and enhancing the elements of an illustration, including characters, environments, and props. Topics will be explored through the lens of concept art, visual development, and other areas of entertainment design, with an emphasis on professional techniques and tools. Aspects of professional practice in these industries will also be covered. Prerequisite: ILLU 310 with semester grades of "C" or higher or instructor permission. Corequisite: ILLU 315.
