Catalog description
This course provides an overview of measurement, analysis, and experimental design concepts that are relevant to researchers and practitioners in Exercise Science who read and/or conduct experimental research. The topics in this course address ubiquitous issues in experimental Exercise Science research such as measurement and calibration, adjusting for differences in body size, repeated measures designs, quasi-experimental designs, the pre-test post-test control/placebo group design, reliability, and common design and analysis errors. Prerequisite: Undergraduate statistics class or instructor permission.
