Catalog description

This course provides instruction on the principles of quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) in the context of healthcare. PI drivers, models, techniques, and processes are covered including workflow re-engineering. QI program organization, management and effectiveness are addressed. This course also includes content on patient safety, risk management, resource management and assessment of provider competence.
