Catalog description

This elective is designed for fourth-year medical students interested in gaining in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in ultrasound and fetal imaging related to obstetrics. The course will provide a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles of ultrasound, utilization of different scanning techniques, visualization of important fetal landmarks, biometry and anatomy, biophysical profile, amniotic fluid measurements, and twin pregnancies. The rotation includes outpatient experiences. Prerequisite: GYNO 900 OR OBGN 975.
