Catalog description

This course is a culminating experience that requires a student to synthesize and integrate the significant knowledge gained during the time spent in medical school and apply theories and principles learned to the selected special topic area. While the exact activities will be assigned at the discretion of the mentor to create expertise in the special topic, the student is expected to complete extensive literature reviews in preparation for a comprehensive exam or project at the end of their final semester.
