Catalog description
A general study of the occurrence, properties, origin, and migration of petroleum. Studies of various oil fields and oil-bearing basins. Laboratory studies include well logs, subsurface mapping, and cross-sections. Prerequisite: GEOL 331 or GEOL 332, and either GEOL 562 or C&PE 327, or permission of instructor. Satisfies: Lab and Field Experiences (LFE)
