Catalog description
This online companion to GEOL 171 allows students a hands-on exploration of the principles and practices of geologic and geophysical research as it relates to natural disasters. Students will be guided through a term-length research project - collecting and analyzing natural disaster data, and drawing conclusions about spatial and temporal occurrences of disasters and their underlying causes. Prerequisite: Corequisite: GEOL 171. Satisfies: Lab and Field Experiences (LFE) , Natural and Physical Sci Lab (NLAB)
