Catalog description

First intermediate-level French language and Francophone cultures course that reviews and builds upon concepts introduced in elementary-level courses. An integrated, content-based approach, with the aim of strengthening skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and intercultural competence. Conducted in French. Not open to native speakers of French or those scoring over 400 on the KU French language placement test. Prerequisite: FREN 120 or placement by examination. Satisfies: Goal 4 Outcome 2 (AE42) , Foreign Language 3rd Level (F3) , Global Culture (GLBC)
