Introduction to the basics of French language and Francophone cultures. A balanced approach that focuses on all skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing and intercultural competence. Conducted in French; no previous French required. Not open to native speakers of French or those scoring over 300 on the KU French language placement test. Satisfies: Arts and Humanities (AH) , Foreign Language 1st Level (F1)
