Catalog description
An introduction to the study of adolescence (puberty to roughly age 18), with a focus on implications and applications for optimal adolescent development. Approaching development from an applied lens, the course will cover foundational information on brain and biological changes that occur during adolescence, as well as on integrating this foundational knowledge with theories of learning, motivation, cognition, and emotional and social development. Satisfies: Goal 3 Social Sciences (GE3S)
