Small business is a unique form of entrepreneurship, and owners face challenges and opportunities that are distinct from scalable startups and large established organizations. This course looks at the various aspects of owning and managing a small business, family business or franchise, with the owners having close control over operations and management decisions. Not open to students with credit in BBA 409. Prerequisite: ENTR 410 or ENTR 301 and sophomore standing (30 hours completed) or instructor approval.
