English - Honors Introduction to English

Catalog description
Study of significant works of world literature. The primary aims are to develop reading and writing skills and to introduce the students to works of literature drawn from a variety of genres and historical periods. Not available for credit for students who have completed ENGL 102. Prerequisite: An ACT score of 31-36, or an SAT score of 650 or higher, or an AP exam score of 3 on either the Literature and Composition exam or the Language and Composition exam, or an IB score of 4, or membership in the University Honors Program, or by consent of the instructor. Satisfies: English (ENG) , Goal 2 Outcome 1 (GE21) , Honors
