Catalog description

This application-oriented course addresses the conceptual basis of statistical analysis with an emphasis on applied data analysis for K-20 educational leaders. The use of descriptive statistics, distributions, graphic displays, hypothesis testing, group comparison, and analyses of relationships among variables to explore research questions in education will be covered. This course is designed specifically for Ed.D. students in the School of Education and Human Sciences. Students in other degree programs may not enroll. Prerequisite: This course is open only to Ed.D. students in the School of Education and Human Sciences.
