Catalog description

A directed reading and research course for qualifying seniors. Involves preparation of a research paper under the supervision of a faculty member whose area of interest and specialization corresponds with the area of study selected by the student. Note that a maximum of 3 credits total of ECON 497 and ECON 697 can count for the elective requirements of any economics degree. Prerequisite: ECON 696 and approval of the selected faculty member and the Director of Undergraduate Studies. Satisfies: Goal 6 Outcome 1 (AE61) , Capstone (CAP) , Honors
