Catalog description

Skillful educators continually seek out technologies that could help them accomplish their learning goals and make thoughtful decisions about the ways they use technology, sophisticated or otherwise, by choosing those tools best-suited to their purposes and constraints and context within which they are working. Throughout the program, you have learned about, experimented with, evaluated, and incorporated technology in different challenges; for example, to improve collaboration, to make learning more accessible for students with cognitive or language needs, to provide more timely feedback, etc. You also have received formative feedback about your design and implementation of these tools. Your portfolio will include three different technology tools you have implemented, a set of principles that has and will guide you in the future, and entries to an annotated technology toolbox for peers and other educators. Domain G: Professional Learning.
