Catalog description

Skillful teachers recognize the limits of what they know and continually seek out new insights from a range of sources to deepen their disciplinary understanding, connect with new ideas in the science of learning and development to revitalize their practices, and refocus on what matters most for their students. Using feedback from the Student Teacher Assessment Rubric (STAR), you will draw from two of the four areas (Learner and Learning, Content Knowledge, Instructional Practice, and Professional Responsibility) to demonstrate how you have drawn on different resources, how your practice and goals for learner needs have changed, and what impact you have had on learners. Domain G: Professional Learning.
