Skillful teachers use the science of learning and development related to Social and Emotional Learning to promote the skills, habits and mindsets that develop self-regulation, as well as interpersonal skills, perseverance, and resilience in their learners. In this portfolio, you will elaborate on the rationale for how selected strategies from this domain are most likely to produce positive outcomes for your learners, present evidence of implementation of research-based concepts and strategies with learners, identify how another concept from another quadrant or domain is relevant in the learning context, and reflect on how your understanding and practice in this domain has deepened over time. Domain E: Grounding in the Science of Learning & Development (SoLD).
