This course examines the relationship between crime, geographical locations, and prevention strategies. Students will explore theories and methods used to understand how physical and social environments influence criminal behavior. The course covers spatial analysis techniques, environmental criminology, and crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED). By analyzing case studies and engaging in practical exercises, students will learn to develop and implement effective crime prevention strategies tailored to specific places.
