Catalog description

This course explores advanced topics in organizational communication. Students will explore organization theories including critical, systems, feminist, and cultural approaches and examines the role of communication in each. The course is designed to heighten students' awareness of the role of communication in the organizing process and to develop their abilities to diagnose and prevent communication-related problems in the workplace. Satisfies: Arts and Humanities (AH) , Goal 3 Social Sciences (GE3S)
