Catalog description
A comprehensive study of the Greek and Latin elements in medical terminology. Students will learn word roots and how to combine them, as well as become acquainted with their relationship to mythology and the influence of ancient ideas about health and the body on modern healthcare. This class is useful for anyone going into the health field including management, clinical areas, insurance, and technical fields. No knowledge of Greek or Latin is required. Satisfies: Arts and Humanities (AH) , Goal 3 Arts and Humanities (GE3H)
