This is the first half of a two-semester sequence in organic chemistry for students with strong records in previous chemistry courses. Recommended for members of the University Honors Program and students majoring in chemistry or related fields. Prerequisite: CHEM 135, CHEM 175, or CHEM 195 with a grade of C- or higher and permission of the instructor. Satisfies: Goal 3 Natural Sciences (GE3N) , Honors
