Catalog description

Design, develop, and use computer decision models for studying business processes, operations, and management. This course teaches students how to structure complex business problems into quantitative models and apply optimization techniques to identify the best possible solutions. Through real-world scenarios, students will practice model formulation, solution interpretation, and data-driven decision-making across various business domains, including resource allocation, pricing strategies, production planning, and portfolio management. Not open to students with credit in SCM 416. Prerequisite: SCM 310 (or SCM 311). Enrollment restricted.
