Catalog description
This introductory course covers biological, physical, and chemical ocean sciences, with an emphasis on ecological aspects. In addition to this Lawrence campus course, students may enroll for a supplementary 2 credit study abroad to a Caribbean coral reef island offered in December or January. Prerequisite: BIOL 152 or 153 or permission of the instructor.
