Catalog description

In this second-year language course, students further develop communicative and cultural competencies with a content-based, interactive approach. Students develop the ability to understand and produce short written and spoken texts in BCMS through engagement with a variety of authentic materials representative of cultural diversity of the studied area. They contrast and compare features of individual BCMS-speaking countries and their cultures as well as differing aspects of BCMS and American life, cultures, and values. Prerequisite: BCMS 108 or BCMS 109 or BCRS 108 or BCRS 109 or permission of the instructor. Satisfies: Goal 4 Outcome 2 (AE42) , Foreign Language 3rd Level (F3) , Global Culture (GLBC)
