Catalog description

An honors, calculus-based introduction to astronomy and astrophysics, required for astronomy majors. Components of the Universe - from planetary systems, stellar systems, large scale structure and cosmology - are examined to illuminate the physics principles which govern their evolution. Prerequisite: MATH 125. Satisfies: Goal 3 Natural Sciences (GE3N) , BA Quantitative Reasoning (QR) , Honors
