Catalog description

This course provides opportunities for students to have direct interaction with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind community members in order to apply cultural, linguistic and power/privilege concepts learned in the classroom. Students must complete 50 hours per credit hour. Schedule will be determined by student and instructor. This course is offered at the 500 and 700 level with additional assignments at the 700 Level. Not open to students with credit in ASLD 788. Prerequisite: Instructor approval. Satisfies: Goal 6 Outcome 1 (AE61) , Capstone (CAP)
