Catalog description
Develops writing and grammar skills for intermediate multilingual learners of English. Focuses on the production of short texts from everyday to academic purposes. Emphasizes conveying written communication in multiple modes, organizing content, linking ideas, and building control over grammatical forms and sentence structures. Designed to move students from CEFR B1 to CEFR B1+ in Writing and Grammar. Formerly Reading, Writing, and Grammar for Academic Purposes III. Prerequisite: Completion of AEC 20 or placement by the Applied English Center.
