Catalog description

Students participate in an intensive behavioral treatment program teaching language, social skills, self-help skills, and academic skills to young children with autism. Students learn: to develop and implement treatment programs; design and use of a system of data collection and analysis; and to apply the principles and philosophy of community and school mainstreaming. Prerequisite: ABSC 304 and ABSC 370 and instructor permission. ABSC 370 must be completed at least 2 semesters prior to enrollment in ABSC 680. Satisfies: Goal 6 Outcome 1 (AE61) , BGS Career Course (BGSC) , Capstone (CAP)
