Process Quality Manufacturing Technology

Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the field of quality within the process industry. It introduces process industry-related quality concepts including operating consistency, continuous improvement, plant economics, team skills, statistical process control (SPC), and preparation of memoranda and briefs. Course Outcomes At the end of this course, students will be able to: Discuss the history of the quality movement in the United States and the state of the movement in the process industry today.
