Through study of selected works of literature, philosophy, visual art, music and other performing arts, this interdisciplinary course presents the student with significant intellectual and artistic achievements of several cultures, including Mesopotamia (Iraq), Anatolia (Turkey), Persia (Iran), and Levant/Palestine (Israel, Syria, Jordan).
