The student will be introduced to the concepts of heat transfer methods, heat loss/gain for structures, thermal conductivity and methods of determining equipment sizing and location. Students will study and calculate R-value and U-value for insulation. Students will identify doors, windows, window coverings, insulating at installations, and thermal conductivity of window and doors.
