The Exceptional Learner/Child Education

Catalog description

This is a survey course which presents the historical, philosophical and legal foundations (IFSP, IEP, 504 plan) of special education (birth to adulthood). The course analyzes topics that impact students from early childhood through high school. There will be a review of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
