Catalog description

This course will survey basic concepts in cell physiology. In addition, a survey of basic anatomical terminology will precede a study of the histology, gross anatomy and function of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Use will be made of the case-study method to achieve the desired understanding and integration of physiologic principles. The laboratory portion of the course will include use of human cadavers to study the anatomy of the systems indicated above.
