Catalog description

This course seeks to strengthen the ability to perceive the visual world and certain phenomena in it while also focusing on the inventive processes of drawing. It will focus on the development of drawing skills and the use of traditional drawing media such as charcoal, but primarily those in color: pastels, colored pencil, and inks and watercolor washes. Instruction in color theory and in matting and framing are included in this course. AAS: Humanities/fine arts elective. Course Fee $20 Topical
