Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the study of the elements of design: line, value, color, shape and form, texture, and space. Through projects involving planning and the manipulation of various media, students will gain experience in the use of design principles and conceptual development of ideas in a two-dimensional format. The material covered in this course is the basis for all art, from drawing to commercial design. AAS: Humanities/fine arts elective. Course Fee $15 Topical Outline Design
