Catalog description
This course prepares nurse educators with the essential knowledge and skills needed to effectively assess and evaluate student learning in nursing education. Students will explore a variety of assessment methods and evaluation strategies to ensure comprehensive and fair evaluation of learning outcomes. Emphasis will be placed on designing assessments that align with learning objectives, utilizing formative and summative evaluation techniques, and incorporating feedback mechanisms to enhance student learning outcomes. Students will complete 45 precepted indirect clinical hours with nursing faculty related to assessment and evaluation of learning.
