Catalog description

This course analyzes contemporary and innovative teaching and learning strategies tailored to nursing education. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based teaching and learning strategies, aimed to prepare students with the skills necessary to foster engaging and effective learning environments for diverse student populations. Students will examine various pedagogical approaches grounded in theoretical and philosophical foundations of teaching and learning. This course addresses the challenges and opportunities in nursing education, preparing students to become innovative educators. Students will complete 45 precepted indirect clinical hours with nursing faculty related to innovative teaching and learning strategies.
