Catalog description
This course provides an in-depth analysis of the principles and practices involved in nursing curriculum development and program evaluation. Students will learn to design, implement, and evaluate curricula that reflect the institutional philosophy and mission, address current nursing and healthcare trends, and meet the community, social needs, and regulatory requirements. The course will prepare students to learn the process of nursing program evaluation. Students will complete 45 precepted indirect clinical hours with nursing faculty or leaders related to curriculum development and program evaluation.
