Catalog description

This course enhances students' clinical inquiry and evidence-based practice skills, enabling them to lead research initiatives and translate evidence into practical applications. It emphasizes critically appraising diverse evidence sources to inform nursing practice and scholarship, evaluating ethical components to mitigate risks in scholarly activities, and using statistical methods to assess scholarly practices. Students will learn to recommend practice changes based on the best available evidence, collaborate with stakeholders, and consider current trends and benchmarks, ultimately preparing them to drive healthcare improvements through informed, ethical, and evidence-based decision-making.
