NUR405 Technology & Informatics in Nursing

Catalog description

This course teaches students how to utilize informatics and health care technologies as they manage diverse individuals, groups, and organizations in the improvement of patient outcomes. The role of informatics within nursing practice, research, and administration will be identified as students explore informatic and data management concepts. Students will apply their learning to a real-world project to implement a technological solution to improve quality and/or safety in practice.
